Jeremiah Chew is a dispute resolution lawyer based in Singapore. He specializes in intellectual property and competition law. He has acted for clients at all levels of the Singapore courts, and represented clients before the Competition Commission of Singapore and the Competition Appeals Board.
In addition to dispute resolution, Jeremiah also advises on the non-contentious aspects of intellectual property and competition law. He has expertise in matters relating to intellectual property registration and licensing, as well as merger control and competition compliance.
Jeremiah is also experienced in the field of privacy and data protection. His work in this area includes conducting personal data protection compliance reviews, and coordinating corrective action following privacy breaches. He was a member of the inaugural panel of lawyers under the Law Society of Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act Legal Advice Scheme for SMEs.
Jeremiah graduated from the National University of Singapore, where he was placed on the Dean’s List. Prior to joining the firm, he practised intellectual property and competition law under a Senior Counsel at a leading local firm.
